7.8.08 - JockeyBox is back writing new material! Dave and RJ are trading ideas and laying down some rough mixes. The songs are quite the mix. There's a little bit of everything but for the most part we are moving down a heavier path. Very excited about all the new material. Hope you are too! As soon as we get some recorded even some rough mixes we'll possibly let out a few sneak peeks.

7.2.08 - I know it seems like forever! Time to re-group. The band hasn't faded into oblivion we just faced some tough times since February. But as of today the remaining members, David, RJ and Anthony Key (Drummer X), of the band met and discussed the future of JOCKEYBOX. The good news is all are in favor of moving forward and getting the band moving forward again. The band really had things going well at the end of '07 but things happened and the band got sidetracked.
So what's the plan of attack? July will bring some fresh rehearsals, new writing, new attitudes and new music! We all love being in this band and we really do hope and will work hard to get it moving in the right direction. We are still looking for a bass player to fill the void left by founding member Anthony Gilvin. Those are big shoes to fill but we hope they will be filled soon. The good news is for the BIG A he is doing well in Buffalo and we wish him and his family all the best!
